Meet the Candidates

Come to the Meet the Candidates event to hear the four candidates running for the POA Board positions that are open this year.  The event will be held at the Clubhouse on Saturday, January 10th from 10 am to noon.
Agenda: start time – 10 am; finish time 12:00 pm
•    Moderator – 5 minute introduction
•    Candidates introduce themselves – two minutes per candidate (approximately 10 minutes)
•    Nine issues given to the candidates prior to the meeting.  The candidate will be given ten minutes to give their views of any or all of the nine questions (approximately 50 minutes)
•    Three of the candidates will be out of the room, while one candidate will answer a question approved by the Election Committee.  All four candidates will answer the same question and be given two minutes to do so. (approximately 10 minutes)
•    Moderator – 5 minute conclusion
•    40 minutes for individuals to talk to candidates individually.
The only issues about which the candidates may speak are:
Finances, new pool, roads, seawalls, (enhancing) property values, special assessments, additional free standing structure, geese, how would you spend $100,000 of discretionary funds.
